Your title and role?
Roofer. I put on, repair and maintain commercial roofs for all kinds of businesses, from start to finish.
Number of years you’ve been with MaintenX?
Three years at MaintenX, and 14 years in the construction industry.
Areas of construction, repair and maintenance that you specialize in?
Commercial roofing projects, any and every job. One area of roofing that I am especially skilled in is waterproofing.
On the Job.
What you’re working on this month?
One of the major projects I’m working on is the complete replacement of a roof for a medium-sized commercial building. It’s a big job that will take almost a month to complete.
Favorite part about helping make a repair or complete an installation to address a customer’s problem?
Being able to provide a basic, essential part of a building. Having a modern, strong, and reliable roof is something that business owners depend to be able to do business and protect their customers, employees, and assets. It makes me happy and proud to be able to help customers with this.
Proudest career accomplishment at MaintenX?
Completing a major roofing job that took almost an entire year. It was for an extremely large office building for one of our customers.
Best overall part about working at MaintenX?
Our people and our team culture. Everyone cares about each other’s well-being. If you ever need any kind of help, your team is always there for you, and our leadership team really watches out for us. It’s really a family culture.
Things you like to do outside of work?
Spending time with my family and also playing drums in a Mexican band that I’ve been a part of for 10 years now. We play at parties and wedding receptions and have a fantastic time.

All the Transformers and Jurassic Park movies.

Favorite place to travel?
Mexico. It’s where my family is from.
